Shortly after Emily moves to San Francisco, however, her hero is attacked and falls into a coma, leaving behind the beginnings of a new game. Now Emily and her new friend, a cipher-solving boy named James, must solve the remaining scavenger hunt puzzles, before Griswold’s attackers can catch up!

When Jamie learns about a local comedy contest, he knows he has to enter. But will Stevie find a way to ruin everything? Or, like the Grace siblings, will Jamie find a way to adjust to the changing shape of his family?

Moving Day: Allie Finkle’s Rules for Girls by Meg Cabot

Wonder by R.J. Palacio

Kirkus Age Range: 8-14

Fifth grader Auggie Pullman, born with a rare facial abnormality, is going to real school for the first time in his life. Up until now, he has always been homeschooled, but this year his parents decided to send him to a private school. Although Auggie feels perfectly ordinary on the inside, he knows that at school he will have to face stares, and possibly worse. This novel, a story of real world courage, will appeal to those readers of The Spiderwick Chronicles who were enthralled by the Grace siblings’ bravery.
